SEND Administration Officer L3 (Grade 3 Point 5)

Temporary to Permanent Part time position (Monday and Tuesday*)

38 weeks per year; 15 hours per week; Actual Annual Salary £6,376.88

Oaklands School is a welcoming, growing special needs primary school specialising in working with children with ASD and language & communication difficulties. We are a Good school on the path to become an outstanding school, according to Ofsted, having been re-inspected in January 2018. We have become an Inclusion Quality Mark Centre of Excellence and work closely with the National Autistic Society. We are looking to appoint a well organised administrative assistant (for 2 days each week in term-time) to manage the documentation required to maintain and review EHCP (Education Health & Care Plan) reviews. The person appointed will be responsible for setting the review timetable, communicating with parents and other agencies, collating reports and other paperwork needed and minute taking during the review, social care and attendance meetings. A high level of professionalism, confidentiality and good written English will be needed for the role which makes a real difference to children’s and families’ lives. You will be highly organised, and reliable with a “can-do” approach to problem solving. Previous experience of SEND-related admin work is desirable but not essential.

*days may be negotiable for the right candidate
