Level 2 Teaching Assistants

Temporary positions until 31st August 2019

32.5 hrs, Actual Salary Range £14,237 - £15,497

Oaklands School is a welcoming, growing special needs primary school specialising in working with children with ASD and language & communication difficulties. We are a Good school on the path to become an outstanding school, according to Ofsted, having been re-inspected in January 2018. We have become an Inclusion Quality Mark Centre of Excellence and we are the only city school accredited by the National Autism Society. The staff and children are friendly and our team work closely to ensure all our children meet their full potential, academically, personally and socially. We are developing three distinctive curriculum pathways to meet the needs of our children which we will begin to teach in September 2018 and we are looking for dynamic, creative and hardworking L2 TAs to join our team at this exciting point in our school development.

In return we require versatile and dynamic teaching assistants with SEND experience to join our successful team of highly skilled and motivated staff in our growing special needs school. 


NVQ Level 2 and GCSE English & Maths or equivalent are essential. Two professional references are required and they will be requested prior to the interview if you are selected. Character references are not acceptable.
