Oaklands School is a welcoming, growing special needs primary school specialising in working with children with ASD and language & communication difficulties. We are a Good school on the path to becoming an outstanding school, according to Ofsted, having been re-inspected in January 2018. We have become an Inclusion Quality Mark Centre of Excellence and work closely with the National Autism Society. The staff and children are friendly and our team work closely to ensure all our children meet their full potential, academically, personally and socially. We are developing three distinctive curriculum pathways to meet the needs of our children which we will begin to teach in September 2018 and we are looking for dynamic, creative and hardworking teachers to join our team at this exciting point in our school development.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher to develop their own teaching skills and knowledge of SEND; an outstanding NQT would be considered.
We are looking for: -
· A vibrant, enthusiastic teacher who will lead a class team
· A teacher who is highly organised, flexible and committed to the progress of every child regardless of their starting points or barriers
We can offer:-
v A supportive team used to working together
v The opportunity to work within a distinctive curriculum pathway supported by expert colleagues
v Excellent opportunities for continuing professional development
v A friendly and stimulating environment in which to work
